Nikon added a new DSLR model to their line up with a lot of new features. This Nikon D5300 model comes with 24.2-megapixel sensor with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS.  which is also Nikon's first digital SLR camera to offer built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS functions. Nikon's new EXPEED 4 image-processing engine gives exquisite color to pictures and movies, and this feature also ensures monstrous amounts of data management at high speeds.

Nikon D5300 comes with 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD monitor.
Its large vari-angle monitor helps to shoot from a variety of angles or to put yourself in the picture. The Nikon D5300 will be available in Black, Red and Grey color variants.

Nikon D5300 also offers a D-Movie function for recording full-HD 1920×1080 pixels videos with excellent sound clarity. The frame rate can be set at 60p/50p/30p/25p/24p for additional video options.
  
Another feature included in this model is a new D-Lighting functionality for portrait subjects ,This function can be applied to human subject areas only while maintaining the ambiance of the background. this model comes with rechargeable Li-ion EN-EL14a battery.
